Second Ministerial Conference - Helsinki 1993
The Second Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe was held in June 1993 in Helsinki/Finland. At this Conference four Resolutions and a General Declaration were prepared in close linkage to the Strasbourg Resolutions. The Helsinki Resolutions and the General Declaration also constitute a joint response of the European countries to many of the forest decisions taken in the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in 1992.
